At the national meeting, our chapter received five different awards. Beta Theta was recognized at the banquet and awards ceremony on August 15th . These awards include:

🏆 Merit award: Financial Management

🏆 Merit award: Membership Recruitment and Development

🏆 Merit award: Business Ideals

🏆 Candle of Knowledge Award: Western Region

A few weeks ago, our Executive Council board member @ashley_e34 represented our Beta Theta chapter at the Phi Chi Theta national meeting in Salt Lake City! It was a great opportunity to meet new people and network! We are looking forward to implementing new ideas and making our chapter the best it can be!

Our advisor, Dr. Danica Schieber, and president, Ashley Ells, represented us as speakers at the Association for Business Communication Southwest Regional Conference. They presented research on effective strategies for recruiting members into a business organization.

Thank you to ABC Southwest for the opportunity to learn, connect, and explore the impact of AI in our ever-evolving world. We loved collaborating with professors and professionals from across the region!
